Metal Engineering

From design to finished assembly: in-house engineering office, end-to-end project management and metal fabrication with approved MIG/MAG, TIG and laser welding.

Materials

Three materials. Every possibility.

  1. Carbon steel

For structures, metal fabrication and heavy-tonnage assemblies.

  2. Stainless steel

For sectors with demanding requirements for hygiene, durability and finish.

  3. Aluminium

Innovative welding processes for lightweight applications.

Engineering office and project management

In-house design and engineering

Our technical department, equipped with modern software tools, works with the customer from the design stage to develop the product and optimise its processes.

  1. In-house design and development

Guards, containers and chip conveyors developed in-house.

  2. Process optimisation

Redesign for manufacturability to reduce cost and lead time without compromising part function.

  3. End-to-end traceability

Documented control of material, procedure and welder throughout the part's production route.

  4. Robotic orbital and linear welding

Metal fabrication and assembly

Complete assemblies. From start to finish.

Light, medium and heavy metal fabrication in specialised plants. We combine in-house design, approved welding and electromechanical assembly to deliver finished, tested assemblies.

  1. Light, medium and heavy metal fabrication

Specialised facilities for every size and tonnage range.

  2. Approved welding

Approved procedures and personnel to demanding standards.

  3. Electromechanical assembly

Turnkey integration, control panels and IP65 testing.

  4. In-house development

Design of guards, containers and chip conveyors.

Facilities and processes

Joining technology. Execution capability.

Four welding technologies and an approved equipment fleet across the Zumaia, Elgoibar and Llanera plants.

MIG/MAG welding

116 units

Versatility for metal fabrication in carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Manual execution and robotic cells for production runs with repeatability and traceability.

TIG / TIG Speed welding

8 units

High precision for demanding finishes and thin gauges, especially in stainless steel and aluminium. TIG Speed adds automatic wire feed to increase deposition rate.

Laser welding

6 units

Minimal heat input, low distortion and high-quality welds at high speed. Manual execution and a state-of-the-art robotic cell.

Orbital and linear welding

7 units

Automated processes for circumferential and longitudinal welds with high repeatability, applied to tube and tank fabrication at the Zumaia plant.

Other joining technologies
